Obituary

Graveside services for Eva Myrl Belcher, 93, will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport.

Eva was born on April 30, 1928, in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana to Minor Birch Robinson and Nellie Moon Robinson and passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Eva was a resident of Shreveport and worked for Calvary Day Care before retiring. She loved to travel, read, play bingo, walk, listen to gospel music, and spend time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and spouse, Harrison Belcher.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cynthia Sims and husband, Keith, Karen Williams and husband, David; granddaughter, Brittany Smith and husband, Josh; grandson, Douglas Williams; stepmother, Grace Robinson; sister, Twyla Bobbit; and brother, Eddie Robinson.
